Nel 1982 Roald Dahl pubblicava Il GGG, e con quel libro regalava al mondo una lingua nuova: il gobblefunk. Un vocabolario di oltre cinquecento parole inventate nell'arco della sua carriera, oggi raccolte nell'Oxford Roald Dahl Dictionary, curato dalla lessicografa Susan Rennie dell'Università di Glasgow. Parole che sembrano esistere da sempre, tanto suonano vive. Parole che sanno di sogno, di magia, di infanzia protetta.
Il papà di questa cucciolata si chiama Wonka Scrumdiddlyumptious, e scrumdiddlyumptious è proprio una delle parole gobblefunk più famose, oggi ufficialmente entrata nell'Oxford English Dictionary con il significato di "meravigliosamente squisito".
La mamma è Ghada Glorious Liberator, ( pagina femmine in aggiornamento) portatrice di un nome epico e luminoso.
Dall'incontro tra la fantasia di Dahl e la fierezza dei grandi liberatori il 20/09/2026 sono nati sette cuccioli norvegesi quattro femmine e tre maschi.
Per ciascuno di loro ho scelto una parola gobblefunk positiva che unisce il significato dei nomi di mamma e papà.
